Displacement Map |
The displacement was the more challenging part of this project for me, as I tried painting the map a few times and every time I failed, but that just helped me learn what worked and what didn't. Finally, the last time when I decided to go with the right method, and it started to work. But before trying to get the seams to work with displacement, I decided to go as far as changing the geometry myself to show the main seams like around the arms, ears and legs, and then for the more detailed ones that was harder to model, I used the displacement map.
